Sir Thomas Wilsford “of Hartridge, in Cranbrook, and married Mary, daughter and heir of Edward Poynings”
July 1585 -commissioned to exercise martial law in Kent.
1585 - commanded a company at Ostend.
November 1589 - lieutenant of Kent.
August 1599 -on alarm of Spanish invasion, nominated Sergeant-Major of force to be assembled to meet it.
Cause of death: believed to be killed in battle.
