John Gorsuch signed his will on 16 DEC 1788. He mentions his two sons, Charles and John to divide lands called Cole's Chance and Contrivance to Cole's Chance. John is also to receive an adjoining tract of 50 acres called Round About. Two of the daughters, Rachel Bosley & Sarah Gill, are to receive 5 shillings and no more. These daughters are cut from any other portion of the estate "for reasons best known to myself". His daughter Mary Gittings is willed two lots of ground in Baltimore town and a negro boy named Abraham. Charles is also given all the lands where he now has his plantation house, but must pay Mary Gittings 100 pounds in four annual payments.
