- == Biography ==Andrew Supplee was born 1688, in Germantown, Philadelphia county, Pennsylvania, the second son of the immigrant, Andris Soouplis.
Andrew was first married to Anna Stackhouse. The area where they lived became Montgomery county, created on September 10, 1784, out of land originally part of Philadelphia County. Andrew and Anna were the parents of one son:
*Hance Supplee, born July 14, 1714, in Upper Merion Township, now Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, died December 16, 1770, married Magdaline Deborah De Haven, in August, 1736
Andrew married, secondly to Deborah Thomas, possibly the daughter of Johannes "John" Thomas and his wife, Jane.
Children of Andrew and Deborah are:
*Catharine Thomas Supplee, born 1717, married John Hatfield
*Jonah Supplee, born 1721, d. 1801, m. 1747 at Gwynedd Friends (Quaker) Meeting, Hannah Hammer
*Andrew Supplee, Jr. born November 9, 1723, d. December 5, 1806, m. Susan Bean, b. August 20, 1720, d. February 21, 1809
*John Supplee, born 1725, died before September 1805, m. November 6, 1760, Sarah Roberts, daughter of Thomas and Sarah Roberts
*Sarah Supplee, born 1727, married Henry McGlathery, who died in 1799
*Susannah Supplee, died after 1768, married in 1753, as second wife of Isaac Cook"
*Christian Supplee, born 1731
Andrew Supplee, Sr. died May 28, 1747, at the age of fifty-nine, in Norristown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, and his remains, with those of sixteen others, were buried in a vault in Norris City cemetery, two miles north of Norristown, Pennsylvania.<ref> Biographical Annals of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, Vol. II, 1904 pp. 351-357 </ref>
