== Biography ==
Bartholomais Mewis Ter Meer was born about 1565 in Bernkastel-Kues, Germany. His parents were Claus Ter Mehr and Beatrix Auf Dem Bend.
On the 24th of February, 1585 Bartholomais married Margaret Grietgen. Together they had at least three children: Boetzgen, Sophia and Claes Ter Meer.
